JACUBA WATERFALL

Cachoeira da Jacuba em Santa Bárbara do Tugúrio em Minas Gerais

Cachoeira da Jacuba is a waterfall in the Riacho das Araras, much appreciated by our guests because of its natural showers where you can sit and receive all the pressure of the water on your back as if it were a natural "whirlpool".  The waterfall is made up of three small drops, two of which have ditches more than five meters deep, where caution is advised. Another striking feature are the small "prainhas" along the path of the Riacho Araras where it is common for people to relax while taking a "sunbath".

The name Jacuba refers to the nickname of the owner of the land where the waterfall is located, known as "Fernandinho da Jacuba".
