The Waterfall of Japan is a waterfall in Santa Bárbara do Tugúrio, established in an isolated region, almost remote from the city. The place is often used by rappelling practitioners.

The name of the waterfall is a reference to the rural region of the city where it is located, known as the Japan Community.

Why is the city of Santa Bárbara do Tugúrio in Minas Gerais considered the "capital of waterfalls" in Campo das Vertentes?
